I grew up in the "Marvelous City" of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where I earned a five-year Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and later got married. During my studies, I completed a research internship in Developmental Psychology with a focus on language acquisition. After graduating, I spent several years working in Human Resources, concentrating on employee development.

 

In 2014, my husband and I relocated to the United States through his company. During that time, I paused my career, and we welcomed our two sons, Felipe and Henrique. They have been part of The Grove since the day it opened, and in 2023 I was thrilled to join the team as a substitute teacher. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work across all program levels and am currently with Upper Elementary and Junior High. It has been a joy to support our students and witness their growth. One of the things I appreciate most about The Grove is the positive environment it provides for the children.

 

Outside the classroom, you can usually find me at my son’s soccer practices and games. I love spending time with family and friends, listening to music, podcasts, watching TV series, reading and traveling.
