I was born and raised in a small beach town in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico called Tampico. In Tampico, I met my husband and grew our family until we relocated to The Woodlands in 2002.
I have two wonderful sons: Juan and Javier. I discovered the Montessori philosophy after my first child started his education. I was so impressed with the method, that I decided to start working as an assistant in his school. Loving the experience so much, I realized I had found my calling.

I’ve been working in Toddler, Early Childhood and Lower Elementary Montessori environments for the past 21 years. Every year, I have been extremely grateful for the opportunity and trust given to me by the parents of my students. I strive to always guide my students with the respect, affection, and fairness they deserve, while nurturing their self-esteem.

One of the many things that I love about teaching is to watch the awe in the student's faces as they learn and discover new things.

In my personal time, I enjoy crafts, classical music, reading, and watching movies.
