I'm originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina but lived in Berlin, Germany for seven years. In 1999, I moved to the United States where I met my husband Jason. We have two children, Tanner and Maida, who have both been in Montessori schools for most of their lives. I love working with children this age and I strongly believe that infant - 3 years of age is the most important period in a child's life. Montessori education is an exceptional approach developed and characterized by an emphasis on independence, freedom within limits and respect for the child's natural psychological, physical and social development. I love reading literature related to the development of the child, as well as spending time outdoors, traveling and doing yoga.
