I grew up in Brenham, Texas, a small town outside of Houston. After graduating high school, I attended Texas A&M in College Station, where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in communications in 2010. Before I began my teaching career, I spent three years in media broadcasting, at radio stations in the College Station and Central Texas area.

One thing I love about the Montessori method is the freedom of choice the students have to pursue their own interests in the classroom. It is so gratifying to interact with students who love to come to school and enjoy learning.

When I'm not teaching, I like to spend my spare time with my husband, Chip, my daughter,  Emerson, and my son, Ezra.
